Cuban Burger



The Cuban and the hamburger are two famous sandwiches that we put together to make this delicious Cuban Burger. It has a juicy beef patty, Swiss cheese, ham, pickles, and a special mustard-mayo sauce between two perfectly toasted buns. This burger is a tasty take on an old favorite!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat

In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper

Form the mixture into 4 patties

Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness

During the last minute of grilling, add a slice of Swiss cheese to each patty and close the grill to melt the cheese

While the burgers are cooking, spread a thin layer of softened butter on the cut sides of the hamburger buns

Toast the buns on the grill until they are lightly browned

In a small bowl, mix together the yellow mustard and mayonnaise to create a special sauce

To assemble the Cuban burgers, spread the special sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun

Place a slice of ham on top of the sauce, followed by a Swiss cheese-topped burger patty

Add dill pickle slices on top of the patty, and then place the top half of the bun on top

Serve the Cuban burgers hot, and enjoy the delicious fusion of Cuban and hamburger flavors!
