These Cinnamon Sugar Donuts are baked to perfection and coated in a sweet cinnamon sugar mixture for a delightful treat. They're perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon
In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, buttermilk, egg, and vanilla extract
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined
Spoon the batter into a greased donut pan, filling each mold about 2/3 full
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the donuts spring back when touched
While the donuts are still warm, dip each one into a bowl of cinnamon sugar mixture 1/2 cup sugar + 1 tsp ground cinnamon to coat them evenly
